Right out of the gate - P90X2 is a beast. Tony Horton provides about 7 different core moves to get you working…and that’s just the warm up.
Let’s just say that after I pushed play…I kept pushing pause. With 17 various core-specific movements, I was feeling it early and often. It took me longer than the 55+ minutes (which is how long the video is). All kinds of moves with the Sphinx plank posture.

As with the workouts in P90X, it’s important to write everything down. So I pushed pause and wrote my results out veeerrrryyy sllllooowwwlllyyy. There were some moves that I could do all of the reps they did on the video. But only a few. I was only doing about half of the reps required before I crashed or my form went south.
This workout required a stability ball and a medicine ball. For the life of me, I still can’t do a stinking Dreya roll. Even with the help of a medicine ball. Tony Horton is still pretty animated during the workouts and the three people completing the workout are going hard throughout.
I know I’m going to be sore tomorrow. But it’s a good sore.
